The Second Council Meeting of the Ninth Session of the Bearing Branch of the China Internal Combustion Engine Industry Association was successfully held in Chongqing

On June 14, 2024, the second council meeting of the ninth session of the Bearing Branch of the China Internal Combustion Engine Industry Association was successfully held at the Wyndham Hotel in Chongqing, and 14 governing units attended the meeting.

Pei Zhiyong, Secretary General of the Bearing Branch, presided over the meeting.  The meeting approved four proposed members to join.  The Bearing Branch intends to establish a technical committee to conduct in-depth discussions and exchanges on the latest research achievements, market applications, development trends, and other aspects of bearing technology.  Representatives from 14 governing units had in-depth discussions and exchanges on the current situation of the industry, material research and development, industry self-discipline, enterprise services, industry crisis awareness, and the work of the branch secretariat.  They provided opinions and suggestions for the development of the industry and the work of the bearing branch secretariat.  The conference conducted an in-depth analysis of the development prospects of the bearing industry, and elaborated on the long-term development trend of internal combustion engines, as well as a comparative analysis of the new energy and internal combustion engine markets for passenger cars and commercial vehicles.  At the same time, the meeting proposed that after the 20th National Congress, the country will establish a social affairs department to strengthen the supervision of industry associations and chambers of commerce, aiming to guide industry associations to better serve member enterprises.

Secretary General Pei Zhiyong summarized the meeting and called on all board members to unite and work together to promote the continuous development and growth of the Bearing Branch, and make greater contributions to the prosperity and development of the industry.
